Wildwood Acres

Wildwood Acres Association is a 501c7 non profit social club. To become a member individuals must first purchase a lot and pay annual fees. Annual fees are used to maintain the common properties with the protection and maintenance of its natural beauty and wildlife being the top priority. Members may chose to build a home on their private lot, enjoy the amenities without building, or camp in the campground. All commonly owned areas are available for membership enjoyment. The Board of Directors is tasked to maintain the facilities and plan for the future development and protection of the association.

2014 Annual Fees:

Owner Assessments: $350.00

Campsite Fee: $475.00

Recreational Vehicle Fee: $20.00

Guest Camping Fee: $20.00 for a camper, $10.00 tent (per night)

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of this association consists of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and four other property owners at Wildwood Acres Association, Inc. All board members are elected at the annual meeting of the association members held on the third weekend of July. The newly elected members of the Board, in session after the election process, will select the officers for the ensuing year. The term of office will be for two years, or until a successor shall have been elected, or appointed where appropriate.
In the event of a vacancy in the office of President, the Vice-President shall assume the office of President. A vacancy on the Board may be filled for the unexpired term by a property owner selected and approved by the board.

Board Actions

All actions taken by the Board of Directors (decisions made, policies and procedures developed, etc.) must be in accordance with the Association By-Laws, Articles of Incorporation, and Restrictive Covenants. These documents form the legal basis for Wildwood Acres Assocation and are referenced in the Membership Documents.

The work done by committees is very important to the Association. It helps distribute the workload, gets more members involved in the decision making process, and takes advantage of their respective talents and abilities.

FUNCTION OF COMMITTEES
*Develop annual objectives to be presented to the Board for approval
*Reccommend annual budgets
*Collect information, ideas, and make reccomendations to the Board for action
* Solicit bids for work to be done
* Supervise work done
* Make periodic reports to the board
*Meet on a regular basis in person or via email.
*Make decisions or take action when appropriate -- seek board approval when necessary
